Summer Camp- Week 3
June 24 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Mud Mamas Studio Summer Pottery Kids Camp is the perfect way to unleash your child’s creativity this summer! This hands-on camp offers a fun and exciting opportunity for kids to learn the basics of pottery in a warm, supportive environment led by wonderful and patient teachers who truly love working with children.
Over the course of the camp, children will explore a variety of pottery techniques; including slab building, coil construction, and throwing on the wheel. They’ll start by learning how to roll out clay slabs to create simple shapes and structures, then move on to building with coils to form bowls, vases, and more. The real excitement comes when they try their hand at the pottery wheel, making their very own bowls, mugs, or small sculptures – a skill they can continue to explore even after camp ends!
Each day is packed with fun, creativity, and plenty of laughter, as kids work alongside peers to craft unique pieces of art. The teachers at Mud Mamas are patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping kids discover the joy of working with clay. Whether your child is a complete beginner or has some experience with pottery, the camp is designed to make everyone feel confident and inspired.
At the end of the camp, kids will have a collection of beautiful, handmade pottery pieces, and most importantly, they’ll walk away with a newfound love for creating art with their hands. It’s the perfect summer activity to keep kids engaged, build their skills, and let them express their imagination while having an unforgettable time!
