Join us for a one night pottery throwing event! In this class you will be focusing on the art of pottery “throwing” on a pottery wheel, where you can learn the basics of creating ceramic pieces in one session, usually designed for beginners who want to try out the craft without committing to a longer course.
Key points about a one night throwing event:
Short duration: The class happens in a single evening, usually lasting an hour and a half.
Beginner friendly: It’s designed for people with no prior pottery experience, teaching fundamental techniques like centering, pulling walls, and shaping on the wheel.
Take-home piece: Participants get to keep the ceramic piece they create during the session, which will be glazed and fired by the studio after the class.
Social aspect: Can be a fun activity to do with friends or as a date night experience.
What to bring: Wear older clothes and shoes and bring an old towel.
